WesterNoirBook One is in June's Previews

Although they've somehow used the wrong cover, WesterNoir Book 1 is now available to buy in the International section of the latest Previews.

You can order a copy from your local comic shop using the code:- JUN221164.

Wow. London MCM.

What an incredible weekend.

All three days of the Con were very busy, very enjoyable and well sold to a lot of new Customers, as well as returning ones.

I took the post apocalyptic headpiece made by Drone to draw attention to my table, and it certainly worked.

As you can see, I even had a few copies of Robot Shorts available, only 6 issues sadly, and they all sold. I'm not sure I have any more.

WesterNoir was top seller as always, with some interesting new customers coming along for the ride...

Yes, I am sorry that's WesterNoir Book 2 isn't out yet but I promise it will be at the same Con next year.

The three days were pretty much the same, lots of interest in comics, Saturday was the busiest day but both Friday and Sunday were busier than they have been in the past.

It was great to catch up with fellow creators, some of whom I haven't seen since before the Pandemic.

I know of a number of people who sold out over the three days, include Jed McPherson, who had the table next me, as I bought his last comic (Transmissions).

All in all a very tiring but very successful three days.

I just need to recover now...

London MCM

I'm all packed up and ready for an early start tomorrow so I can set up the table before 10am.

I'll be at C19 in the Comic Village, do pop by and say hello if you're in the area, should be a good one.

Portsmouth Comic Con - A great southern Con.

Well it was a few weeks ago now but I thought I'd write a short summary of how I found it getting back to Portsmouth and, well, getting back to Cons.

This one started with a panel, something I've not done for a while, outside in the Sun.

I must say that David Baillie made us all feel relaxed and involved and I really enjoyed it. Great to be sat next to Kai Wordsmith artist and collaborator Ian Ashcroft.

Two days of great attendance from the public, good engagement with people who stopped at the table and great catching up with other creators and at the end of the weekend I realised what a good time I'd had.

Not just that I sold a good number of books, always a good thing, but also that's the Con had that family friendly feel to it that a lot of the larger events lack.

Looking forward to doing more in the future.

Portsmouth Comic Con is this weekend.

This weekend I'll be flying solo at the Portsmouth Comic Con.

It's a great Con and I'm really glad to see it back.

Do pop by the table and say 'Hi' if you are there, it's been a while.

Dr. Strange 2

I took the day off today and went to see the new Dr. Strange movie.

I'm not going to spoil anything for anybody but will just say that I really enjoyed it. Beginning to end.

There was more horror in it than anything else from the MCU so I'd think twice before letting your children see it but... yep... a great movie.
